This week at World of Beer - Ft. Worth for PubGuys Trivia I had no shortage of dad jokes for my captive audience! Luckily MOST of them landed! Besides that, we just completed another week of fun, FREE, trivia at World of Beer - Ft. Worth! We're here every week for two rounds of trivia from 7 - 9 PM, giving everyone who shows up two chances to win! What do you win? Game 1

We had the usual suspects this week, with Got Here Late and Hoes For Sho rounding out the regulars. The remaining teams, like Good Effort and C-Men (and Women), made up the rest of the group for tonight's trivia. Each game during Round 2 there's always a Theme that encompasses all the questions and answers during that round. There's also a Visual Round solely for Game 1, in which the teams are provided a visual guide that they have to turn in at the end of Round 3. This visual guide is always worth 10 points, and can change the tide of the game at the very end. The Theme for Round 2 this game was: The French are Coming!, so all the questions/answers that round involved the French.

At the end of Game 1 we had Got Her Late take 1st place, with team Bruh taking 2nd. Here's a question that stumped everyone:

• Roland-Garros is a world-famous sporting contest that is better known by what name?

Some of the most common guesses: caber toss, lawn bowling, and the Tour De France, but they were all wrong. The correct answer was:

• French Open

Game 2

The 2nd game follows the same formula as Game 1, however instead of a Visual Round there is a Kitchen Timer Bonus Round. We gained 5 players between Games 1 & 2, making the stakes even higher for the players who were there from the beginning. The new team joined us under the name We're Trying, going up against everyone from Game 1. The Theme for this game's 2nd round was: From Russia With Love, meaning all the questions/answers that round had something to do with Russia. For the Kitchen Timer Bonus Round we gave the teams a time limit in which they had to put down 10 answers to the following question: In this year's Academy Awards, what were the ten movies nominated for Best Motion Picture?

Ultimately Got Here Late came up with the 1st place win again, with We're Trying and C-Men & Women tying for 2nd place. After a heart-wrenching tiebreaker question We're Trying took 2nd place, ending the game! Here's a question that stumped everyone:

• What was the first-ever item listed on eBay? 

It was not a toaster, anything remotely sexual, or a "potato chip in the shape of Jesus". It was actually something completely mundane:

• a broken laser pointer
