Well now I've seen it all... well, maybe not, but I've seen something I've never seen in the 3 years I've been doing PubGuys Trivia. A 5 way tie for first place. WOW.

Ties are rare enough to begin with. We have multiple leveled questions and bonus questions and combine that with the differing knowledge bases of our teams and ties just don’t happen that often. So to see a 5 way tie for first place is truly something to behold. It was a very hard round, one of the toughest I’ve seen in quite some time, so I guess when a lot of questions don’t get answered then a tie is more likely.

So congrats to the tiebreaker winners of Game 2 Dr. Dad (1^st) and Spanish 101 (2^nd). And special thanks to New Belgium Brewing for the extra goodies that went to the other teams in the tie so they didn’t walk away empty handed.
