Trivia Night at Cowtown Brewing Co. was nothing short of electric on Tuesday evening. The brewery was packed to the brim, the taps flowed cold, and the smoky aroma of Outpost 36 Texas BBQ filled the air. Teams came ready to battle through six rounds of PubGuys Trivia, plus bonus questions sprinkled in to keep the competition hot. With a crowd full of laughter, playful rivalries, and fierce competition, it was the perfect recipe for a night of fun.
Rounds 1 & 2
The game kicked off with an intense start. 3 Beers and a Baby and Hot Tequila came out swinging, both scoring six points in Round 1 to set the tone. No Folk and Chance stayed right in the mix with five, while Crazy Cokeheads trailed close behind at three. The rest of the field, including From Downtown, Spooning Leads to Forking, and I Quizzed My Pants, had a slow start.
Round 2 shook things up immediately. 3 Beers and a Baby and No Folk and Chance each put up a strong nine points, while Hot Tequila grabbed seven to keep the top three tight. Crazy Cokeheads climbed steadily, adding five, but the real surprise was From Downtown, still scoreless after two rounds, creating quite a hole to dig out of.
Rounds 3 & 4
By Round 3, the middle of the game brought both excitement and a shifting leaderboard. No Folk and Chance hit their stride with six points, putting pressure on 3 Beers and a Baby who slipped slightly with five. Hot Tequila matched that five to keep within striking distance, while Crazy Cokeheads posted their best round so far with six. Suddenly, the chase for the lead was officially on.
Then came Round 4, and with it, a shakeup. From Downtown, after two rounds of zeros, made their move with five points, proving they weren’t out of the race yet. 3 Beers and a Baby held steady with five, but No Folk and Chance dipped to four, narrowing the margin. Crazy Cokeheads surged with seven—momentarily looking like they might sneak into contention.
Rounds 5 & 6
As Round 5 hit, pressure was at its peak. 3 Beers and a Baby rebounded with a big seven points, while Hot Tequila struggled with just four. No Folk and Chance also stumbled at four, giving 3 Beers and a Baby the breathing room they needed. Crazy Cokeheads stayed consistent with four, while From Downtown clawed for another four to keep moving up.
The final regulation round, Round 6, sealed the deal. No Folk and Chance roared back with eleven points—the single best round of the night—to put the heat back on. But 3 Beers and a Baby answered with eight, just enough to stay in front. Hot Tequila put up nine to stay close, and From Downtown added two, while Crazy Cokeheads slipped with just one.
Bonus & Final Results
The bonus questions were a wild finish. Crazy Cokeheads dominated here with thirteen points, skyrocketing back into contention, while Hot Tequila snagged seven, and 3 Beers and a Baby added six to keep control. When the dust settled, 3 Beers and a Baby emerged as champions with 46 points. No Folk and Chance claimed a hard-fought second with 44, and Hot Tequila landed just one shy in third with 43. From Downtown’s rally earned them fourth at 42, while Crazy Cokeheads rounded out the top five at 39.
