Game 1:
12 Teams, only 2 winners, who would take game 1 tonight? We had Pineapple, Mouseaholics, No Folk and Chance, Hot Tequila, The Yank and the Redcoat, Simplitons, Pocket and Budgie Butt Stuff taking on newcomers: Old Bizkitz, Professor, UCONN and Leave me Alone. This was a great start to the night.
2 rounds in, with all bonus questions based on Automobile trivia, we had a tight game. Pineapple had a rough round 1 with only 1 point but started a comeback in round 2 with 5 points. Mouseaholics and Professor were enjoying a 2-point lead over Hot Tequila and Old Bizkitz. Pocket and The yank and the redcoat were having a tough go but were still in the mix.
No Folk and Chance were finding their rhythm and in round 3 got 6 points! However, so did 6 other teams! This was going to depend on the bonus points to find our winner. The Mouseaholics had a tough go with car questions only taking 3 bonus points. Pineapple had their motor revving and took 7 bonus points! No Folk and Chance took 6 bonus points, and it was just enough to hop them over Hot Tequila, The Yank and the Redcoat and Old Bizkitz to tie Mouseaholics for 2nd place!
1 Question, 1 Answer, 1 spot left for 2nd place! Would it be Mouseaholics or No Folk and Chance?
With an answer of 42 and an answer of 17 we knew our winner! I wanted to know how many perfect games had been thrown prior to the 2017 season! Congrats to No Folk and Chance!

Another game, would we have repeat winners? Would another team get hot? We shall see!
2 rounds in and Hot Tequila proved why they are one of the best! With an amazing 14 points to start off the game, could they be caught? Not if Budgie Butt stuff, No Folk and Chance or Mousaholics had anything to say about it! They were all knotted up at 11 points and looking to make a moved! The Yanks and the redcoat started well but took a nap in round 2 with only 2 points!
Bonus questions – all sorts of fun animal questions. The chicken and the T-Rex, Cicada and Horned Lizard were all in the mix! These answers would also play a huge part for our winners!
With an amazing 8,6,7 points, Hot Tequila barely needed their 5 bonus points to take a 4-point W! Congrats! While they took 7 points in round 3, it was just not enough for the Yanks and the Redcoat to recover from their 2 points round 2. Mouseaholics had a rough go in rounds 2 and 3 with a total of 5 points between the 2 rounds knocking them down into 6th place! With 5 points in round 3 and 5 bonus points, we yet again had another tie! Budgie Butt Stuff and No Folk and Chance were hanging out at 21 points each.
Another tie breaker, another 2nd place team! I found a very fitting question about Ken Jennings and how many episodes in a row was he on Jeopardy! 2 quick guesses, 1 closest answer and we had our 2nd place team! Congrats!
