Game 1:
A packed house at Cowtown Brewery tonight! We would have 16 teams fighting for 1st and 2nd place. Where to start…
We had some regulars in the house with: Dimestore Drinkers, Mouseaholics, 2 Yanks and No redcoat, Hot Tequila, Pocket, Simpletons, and Tequila is better cold!
We welcomed in some new teams with: Pineapple, B&C, The Solution, My Purse is Broken, Nerds in Recovery, Sloth with no name, Kylarah, Wingnuts, and Hot N Sour Soup!
Where to start? Our bonus points would be critical in this game, and they would all be based on…STAR WARS! Two amazing rounds in and we had a game on our hands! Mouseaholics, Simpletons and The Yanks and No Readcoat (they were missing the redcoat tonight) were all knotted at 13 points. Pineapple was just 1 point out of the lead at 12 points. Hot Tequila was still hot and, in the mix, just 2 points out of 2nd place. We also had 3 teams on the periphery at 9 points.
With 7 bonus points out of 8 and 6 points in round 3, the Mouseaholics did just enough…or did they? Pineapple made a move to the outside and they got 8 points in round 3, moving them up to a TIE for 1st place, knocking the Simpletons down to 3rd. The Yanks and No Redcoat and Hot Tequila had a tough round 3 with only 2 total points.
Here we went with another night at Cowtown and another tie! One question, one team member and 45 seconds. This was for the win! Congrats to our winner, Pineapple for knocking off Mouseaholics in the tie breaker round.

Game 2:
Feeling some pressure tonight, Hot Tequila started game 2 off HOT with an amazing 15 points after 2 rounds. Would they stay hot? Would they know enough about Johnny Depp to get 8 bonus points? Yes, game 2 bonus questions were all centered around Johnny Depp! 2 Yanks and no redcoat were also hot and were at 15 points after 2 rounds! Pineapple refused to relinquish the top place trophy and were just 1 point out sitting at 14. From 9th place to 4th place, we had our teams all separated by a single point. This game could still be anyone’s!
Some teams knew Johnny Depp while others had a rough go with the bonus questions. Apparently, Pineapple were Depp fans getting 7 out of 8 bonus points. Would that be enough to move them into 1st? With 7 points in round 3 and 4 bonus points, Mouseaholics found themselves leapfrogging Hot Tequila and 2 Yanks and no Redcoat to move into 2nd place. From Sloth with no name to Hot N Sour Soup we had 6 teams just 1 good round out of 2nd.
It was a tough game and round 3 was our game changer! With an amazing 29 points we had Pineapple take the W in game 2 just 6 points over the Mouseaholics!
