Game 1:
What a great night for Trivia as we had 16 teams in the house enjoying some great BBQ and Beer, as well as Trivia. As I had a brain fart last week and this write-up is late, you get the reader’s digest version today.
Going into our final round we had a hodge podge of teams sitting within 3-4 points of each other and it would come down to the bonus questions and their brains! With Jerk Store and Six to Go taking a 2-point lead into the final round, I was wondering if it would be enough, or would they fall in round 3? Hot Tequila, Got Here Late and Frau Blucher were sitting in a tie for second place with The Slingers and I quizzed my pants right behind them, tied for 3rd place. However, this game would be a tossup.
8 points was the name of round 3 as we had 4 teams take 8 points in round 3! With 8 bonus points as well, Jerk Store was able to break the tie with Six to Go to take 1st place. With a tough round 1 and only 6 bonus points, Hot Tequila did well but fell just short as they ended up 3 points behind Six To Go leaving them in 3rd place. Rounding out the top 5 we had: Got Here Late, I quizzed my pants, Frau Blucher and The Slingers.

Game 2:
After a quick break, a mental reboot, and a fresh beer, we were ready for game 2! Got here late was looking to make amends as they came out with 12 points after 2 rounds and a good 3-point lead over I quizzed my pants, No island is a man and a drinking team with a trivia problem! The Slingers and Jerk store were in the mix as well, just a few points out of the money.
Jerk Store made a move in round 3 getting the most points of all the teams. However, with a tough showing in round 1 and 2 they could not have a repeat win as they fell 3 points out of 1st, leaving Got here late to take the WIN. With a 1-point advantage in round 3, Jerk Store was able to catch The Slingers and we ended in a tie for 2nd place! No man is an island and I quizzed my pants were just a few points out of joining our tie as they rounded out the top 5 teams. 1 question, 1 answer, and we had our 2nd place team as The Slingers edged out Jerk Store for 2nd place.
