Game 1:
2 great rounds into the game, 12 awesome teams and 1 round left. It was a great start to the night at Cowtown Brewing Co.!
We had the Mouseaholics in a comfortable lead at 13 points. However, No Folk and Chance were close enough sitting at 10 points. The Professor, with a little side game going against You Say Tomato, were sitting at 9 points. Hot Tequila were in the mix but had a rough round 2 with only 2 points. Could they get hot in round 3? We had some new teams tonight as well trying to get in on the prizes: Team Iowa, Don’t Judge us for our answers, Montana and Lucky Lisa were having a good time!
Our bonus questions this round were all NFL coaches, and this would be critical in the end. 5 teams had a good round 3 with 6 points each. One team had an awesome round with 8 points. Hot Tequila got hot in the last round and had just enough to take 2nd place, leaping over No Folk and Chance. Mouseaholics, thanks to Hot Tequilas round 2, kept their lead and took 1st place by 2 points. 7th place to 3rd place were all knotted up with 15 – 19 points. While they did not win the first game, it let me know that everyone was here to play!

Game 2:
Mouseaholics took off fast and never looked back. With 17 points in the first 2 rounds, they had a considerable lead over the other teams. This game would be a fight for 2nd place.
Montana, Hot Tequila and No Folk and Chance were in the top 4 spots, but it was still any teams game with round 3 coming up. The loveable Pocket had to bow out early (thanks Law school!) to do some homework, but they were winners with the cutest dogs on the patio!
Hot Tequila seemed to find a way to overcome the hurdles and have a good round 3 again. With 7 points, they were able to overtake Montana and No Folk and Chance and take 2nd place again. 2 games, 2 repeat 1st and 2nd place teams.
It was a great night and we all had fun. Our winners of the side game (losing team had to pay their tab) between Professor and You say Tomato was won by Professor! What a fun little side bet and sorry for Tomato for having to pay the tab for the table!

What a great ending to a fun night! It is always an exciting time during PubGuys Trivia at Cowtown Brewery Co. on Tuesday nights.
A huge thank you to the Cowtown crew for taking care of us all! Christiana, Lydia, Josh, Matt and Keith. You all make my life easier by bringing the teams cold beer and hot food.
