Game 1:
We had our teams primed and ready and they all took off in a flash as Catalina Wine Mixer’s started off with a 1-point lead over Bad Decisions and No Folk and Chance. Deez Hickory Nuts, Hot Tequila and Peasant Workers were all in the mix as well, just a couple of points out of 1st.
Our bonus questions were all Presidential related and they would come into play for the teams final scores. With 4 of our top 5 teams taking 6 points in round 3, teams needed to know their Presidential history. Deez Hickory Nuts were hanging in there until round 3 as they took 4 points and only 3 bonus points. They saw their chances slip away as the slid down into 5th place. Hot Tequila had a great round 3 and took 5 of 6 bonus points, but with a slow start, they took 4th place just 2 points out of 1st. This was another close game!
With 21 points, Bad Decisions took 3rd place as our top teams were tied at 22! Another week, another tie and down to 1 question to see who takes first place.
I went with a leap year question and wanted the team closest to 1461. This was one of the closest tie breakers I had as I received the team’s answers and had a difference of 33 and a difference of 39. Congrats to our winners No Folk and Chance!

Game 2:
Bad Decisions took off fast and furious again as they had 13 points after 2 rounds. No Folk and Chance took 10 points and then we had Hot Tequila and Catalina Wine Mixer sitting at 9 points. Would we have another tie? Would Bad Decisions make some poor choices and drop down out of first? We would see as we had 1 round to go, and our bonus questions this time were all based on 2019 movies.
With 7 points and 5 bonus points, Catalina Wine Mixer made a surge for 1st place but were stopped at the breakers, just 2 points shy. Hot Tequila took 5 points but with an amazing 7 points, they found themselves in a tie for 2nd place! No Folk and Chance, after an awesome 8 points in round 1, could not find their rhythm and dropped to 4th.
Another game, another tie, another single question to figure out who would take 2nd. This time I went ancient tombs and how many had been discovered as of the end in 2013. We had a guess in the 30’s and guess in the 1400’s. Congrats to Catalina Wine Mixer on taking 2nd place two games in a row!
