In Game 1 Kenny Rogers, Lionel Richie, and Marilyn Chambers could not have played a better game than Jersey!  Taking an early lead in round one they never looked back.  Pocket and Hot Tequila made a valiant effort to take the lead, but nobody could take over Jersey! not the shore. Going into round 3 it was a tossup for second place.  Which team would rock the cradle or pop the clutch?  It was the ever-resourceful Hot Tequila that took 2^nd in the final round by 2 points.  What a bunch of Yo-yos!   😊  Congrats on a well-played game!

Game 2 offered us even more excitement for the night.  Who knew that the original, green gummy bear tasted like Strawberries, not lime!  That was a curveball for the night and offered us a good laugh.  This game was tight until the end.  Going into the final round we had a 1-point lead for first place and every team was still in it to win it!  Which team would win?  Which team, or teams, would get stung by The Scorpions.  No not the music group or the arachnid but the rival gang of the T-Birds in Grease.  Sadly, it was most teams.  However, it was a great question with the most numerous incorrect answers being the Pink Ladies.

Congrats to Hot Tequila for taking the W in game 2 and wrestling the crown back from Jersey!.  However, 2^nd place was another story.  We had a 2 team TIE for second place.  I always love a tie breaker and really wanted to do a dance off but alas, we had to ask a simple question in which 1 member from each team had to stand at my table and turn in the answer within 30 seconds.  It was a simple question and the team closest would take 2^nd place.  Up came Pocket and Tequila is better cold to answer the following for me: “How many US Presidents held office in the 20^th century?”.  Pocket guessed 23 and Tequila is better cold guessed 21.  Congrats to…Tequila is better cold on getting the closest 18!  What a great ending to an amazing night!
