Well, if you ask Spooning Leads to Forking, it is worth about $10. Not once, but twice. This was an amazing night of hard-fought trivia! Well done by all the teams. We did welcome back a team that had taken a sabbatical, but they came out in force last night. Welcome back NG, our dogs are on a date!
Game 1:
What an amazing game. Going into the final round we had 5 teams vying for the top spot. Nope, Vodka is Better cold, NG – our dogs are on a date, Hot Tequila, No Folk and Chance and Spooning Leads to Forking we all bunched up looking for a win. Cumming Quietly, Little Penguins, Tequila is better cold, and Pocket were in the mix until the final round.
Jumping from 4th to 1st were the winners of game 1 – Congrats to No Folk and Chance! Taking 2nd by that elusive 1 point was Spooning Leads to Forking. Missing 2nd by 1 point was Nope, Vodka is better cold and tying for 4th, missing 3rd by 1 point we had Hot Tequila and NG – our dogs are on a date. As you can see, 1 point is all you need to take first or second with this crowd. Make every point count!
Game 2:
With a fresh slate and a new game, who would take the W this time? Yet again, what an amazing game. Going into round 3 we had, again, 4 teams vying for the coveted W. Spooning Leads to Forking, NG – Our dogs are on a date, Hot Tequila and Nope, Vodka is better cold were all looking for the WIN! The competition was crazy, the brain power was electric, and the beer was cold! Yet again, getting edged out by that single point was Spooning leads to Forking. Taking 3rd and missing out on 2nd by 1 point was Nope, Vodka is better cold. Taking the W in game 2 were the newly returned NG – our dogs are on a date! CONGRATS to our winners!
The lesson from this week is…every point counts! 1 point can mean victory or defeat! It can be worth $20 or $10! What will happen next week?
