Yes, that was the bonus question categories tonight! As the teams gathered, ordered a nice cold beer and some hot BBQ, we got our games started! There was a nice breeze off the patio and the A/C was pumping out the cold air and we had a very enjoyable night of Trivia!

Game 1:
Another amazing night at Cowtown Brewing Co. on Tuesday. We had I quizzed my pants, Hot Tequila, Peasant Workers and more come out for Trivia Night! They all enjoyed amazing craft beer and hot BBQ!
With 2 rounds in the books, Hot Tequila, was sitting in the lead by a single point over Peasant Workers. However, The Indoctrinators were hot on their tail just 2 points out of 1st. I quizzed my pants had a rough start to the night and were sitting at 6 points after 2 rounds. However, there is always round 3 and the bonus questions!
With another 6 points in round 3 and all 6 bonus points, Hot Tequila took 1st and never looked back. The Indoctrinators and Peasant Workers had a tough round 3 with 1 point and 2 points, leaving the door open for I quizzed my pants, who took 5 points and all 6 bonus points! From 4th place, I quizzed my pants, took the opening, and ended up in a 3-way tie for 2nd place! What a great ending to the 1st game!
Our tie breaker question was a good one. How many filed to register as a Presidential candidate in 2012? We had a guess of 42 and a guess of 7. Congrats to The Indoctrinators!

Game 2:
A new game, a different start as I quizzed my pants wanted to prove themselves after the loss in the tie breaker in game 1. They took 12 points and the lead after 2 rounds. The Indoctrinators were feeling hot, and they were just 1 point out of the lead sitting at 11. Hot Tequila were in the mix as well sitting at 9 points.
Our top 3 teams each took 7 or more points in the final round with our winners, I quizzed my pants, taking an amazing 10 points and the WIN! Hot Tequila took 8 points and an amazing 8 bonus points. I added in a couple of extra bonus questions to try and avoid a tie. However, it backfired on me as that was enough points to catch up and tie The Indoctrinators for 2nd place. Another game, another tie, and another single tie breaker question. This question was based on how many times the beloved Joey said ‘How you doin’? in Friends. Surprisingly it is not as many as you think. We had a guess in the upper 90’s and another in the 100’s. Congrats to Hot Tequila on being the closest to the answer!
