Game 1: Bonus Questions Theme - Friends
It was an incredible evening at Cowtown Brewery as Mother Nature did not unleash the heat and the patio was packed! Teams were gathered inside and out as we began our night of Trivia. With 2 rounds in we had Hot Tequila, Cry Daddies, and Law and Disorder sitting in the lead with 13 points. Just 2 points behind, we had Smarty Pints, No Folk and Chance and Beer Necessities sitting at 11 points.
We had 4 teams get an amazing 6 points in round 3 and they all did well, but it was not quite enough to propel them into the top 2 spots as they all tied for 4th at 21 points. Law and Disorder also received 6 points and they powered their way to 22 points, just 1 point shy of 2nd place as Smarty Pints had some good brain beer as they took 8 points in round 3! As they celebrated their points and apparent victory, they were burned by Hot Tequila who also took 8 points and like a brightly burning comet, they took the win with 26 points!

Game 2: Bonus Questions Theme – Disney Movie Songs
New game, new bonus question theme and some craziness. Yep, we were ready for game 2! The A Team and Law and Disorder were ready to play as they started fast and furious with 8 points in round 1! Hot Tequila may have burned to bright in game 1 as they were sitting in 3rd place, along with No Folk and Chance and Smarty Pints. Beer Necessities was nestled right in the middle of the pack with 7 points.
Round 2 was a shuffle of teams as the scores were all over the place. No Folk and Chance and Hot Tequila were looking to make up ground as they sprinted to the precipice with 9 points each! Smarty Pints blew off the suds and brewed their way up into the mix taking 8 points in round 3. The A Team forget they were an A Team and became a D team with only 3 points in round 2. Law and Disorder were held in contempt of court as they only found their way to 2 points in round 2.
Away we go to round 3! No Folk and Chance had their chance slip away as they took 1 point in round 3 and they found themselves finishing in 3rd place just 2 points out of 1st! Law and Disorder got bailed out and with their 5 points they did their best but finished in 4th place at 20 points. Smarty Pints grabbed the wrong hat. Thinking they had grabbed their thinking caps; it was too late as they realized someone had swapped them out with fool’s caps. They also took 1 point in round 3, dropping them to 5th place.
While Hot Tequila cooled off in round 3, only taking 3 points, The A Team found their B.A. Baracus muscles and punched out 7 points. We ended game 2 with fire and muscles as our top 2 teams were tied at 23!
1 last question, 1 last answer and a little math to get the closest to the odds on being a Leapling. With a guess within 1 from the actual answer, we had our winners! Being reborn and rising from the ashes, like a phoenix, Hot Tequila took the win in game 2!

A huge shout out to Christiana, Hannah, Elaura, Max, and Samir for taking care of the Teams tonight. You all keep the beers full; the food is delivered hot, and you make my life easier as I host Trivia.
