No Sweat! As we had 17 teams come out to Cowtown Brewing Co. on Tuesday night. Thier new special is $20 for a pitcher of beer (select beers) and 12 wings!
Game 1:
Everyone took me seriously and came out to beat the heat and play some Trivia this past Tuesday. 17 teams showed up to have fun, cold beer, and hot BBQ! We a lot of new teams this week that came out to checkout The Angry Irishman and Cowtown Brewing Co. They would take on 2 of our heavy weight teams, Hot Tequila and No Folk and Chance. How would they do?
Sheppy’s, a new team, came to play as they took 11 points and a 3-point lead and looked comfortable in first. The Indecisives and No Folk and Chance were sitting at 7 points looking up. Hot Tequila was doing their thing and were sitting in a tie for 2nd place with Your Mom and Got Here Late. It was going to be a fun night the way the teams were competing.
With only 4 points in round 3, Sheppy’s left room for those Hot on their heels and 2 teams took advantage. With 8 points in round 3, Hot Tequila got hot at the right time and took over 1st place to take the W in game 1. No Folk and Chance took 6 points in round 3 and with 6 bonus points, they caught Sheppy’s in a tie for 2nd. The top 9 teams had final points ranging from 16 to 22 with just 2 points separating the pack as we had 2 teams tie for 6th, 2 teams tie for 4th and 2 teams tie for 2nd. What a crazy game 1!

Game 2:
With 1 game down, we were all set for game 2. No Folk and Chance, after losing the tie breaker to Sheppy’s, in game 1 came out fast and furious with 12 points. Pape-D’Awesome and 4 Shea were sitting nice at 10 points and Your Mom was sitting pretty at 11 points. Bonus points are key to these games and can make or break your score.
While Hot Tequila was one of 3 teams that took 8 points in round 3, they were just to cold, after their game 1 win and finished in 4th. 4 Shea took 5 points but with out 3 bonus points, they saw themselves fall into 5th place. Pape-D’Awesome and No Folk and Chance took 8 points as well and it was just enough, for Pape’D’Awesome to take 1-point lead over Your Mom to secure 2nd place. No Folk and Chance was sitting in first with 24 points, avenging their loss in game 1.

What a great ending to a fun night! It is always an exciting time during PubGuys Trivia at Cowtown Brewery Co. on Tuesday nights.
