Game 1: Bonus Question Theme – Austin Powers! Yeah Baby!
Mouseaholics were back tonight along with The Sharks, No Folk and Chance and Hot Tequila. Joining them were Quizard of Oz, The Beer Divas, Tequila is Better cold and Kidnapped Classified Documents.
2 Rounds in and we had a close game. The Mouseaholics sure knew their Austin Powers as they had 4 out of 4 possible bonus points and a 2-point lead over No Folk and Chance and The Sharks. Would it last? Hot and Cold, our Tequila teams were still in the mix at 9 points, just 2 points shy of 2nd place and 4 points out of first. It was still anyone’s game. What would we see in round 3?
Kidnapped Classified Documents made a late run for it with an amazing 8 points in round 3 and 5 out of 8 bonus points. However, it was too little too late, and they ended up in 4th, tied with the Sharks, who had a tough round 3 only netting 4 points. Hot Tequila went cold and netted 2 points in round 3 dropping them into 5th. Tequila is better cold got hot and took 6 points in round 3 and 5 bonus points, but the 3 bonus points left on the table kept them out of 1st or 2nd place. They dropped to 3rd place, losing out to No Folk and Chance by a single point. Mouseaholics enjoyed an amazing 8 points in round 3 to solidify their win with an amazing 27 points.

Game 2: Bonus Question Theme – Dallas Cowboys! How ‘bout them Cowboys!
Who was the first NFL player to win a Super Bowl MVP and be on the LOSING team? Super Bowl V – Dallas vs. Colts. Yep, the losing team had the MVP of the game. How crazy is that? So, we had Dallas Cowboy bonus questions this game.
Would Hot Tequila make a comeback? How would our new teams fair? Would No Folk and Chance make a run and take 1st or 2nd? We would see…
The Divas came out singing and took an amazing 13 points in the first 2 rounds, taking a 2-point lead over Tequila is Better Cold, Kidnapped Classified Documents and Mouseaholics. No Folk and Chance still had an outside chance as they were at 9 points going into the final round.
Going into round 3, the Mouseaholics were well rested from their week off and took an amazing 10 points in round 3, would it be enough? The Beer Divas left points on the board taking 7 points in round 3 and Hot Tequila took 8 points in round 3, but would it be enough for a Hot finish?
This game came down to Bonus points and apparently not everyone is a Cowboy’s fan. Who knew? However, Tequila is Better Cold grabbed an amazing 8 out of 8 bonus points, moving them up to a tie for 2nd place with Mouseaholics. No Folk and Chance had a great round 3 and nabbed 6 bonus points but it was just not enough to move them into 2nd, leaving them in 4th place at a great score of 22. Hot Tequila made a late run getting 8 points in round 3 and they nabbed 5 bonus points, but it just was not enough after a rough round 1 and 2.
Yet again we ended in a TIE tonight. Mouseaholics vs. Tequila is better cold. Mano a Mano, well ok not really hand to hand but one on one. I wanted to know: “At what speed, in MPH, is the Earth Orbiting the Sun?” 1 guess was 13,000,000 and the other guess was 15,000. Congrats to Mouseaholics on taking 2nd place.
