In a Brewery, not so far, far away our Star Wars fans gathered to compete for the planet known as Cowtown Brewery Co.
Game 1:
Many same teams with creative names for Star Wars Trivia showed up this evening. We also had some new teams come out and try their luck. Darkside has Cookies, Mos Eisley Bandits, Cowtown Jedis and Big Trass all showed up to take on Jersey!, The Todd Father, Bobba Fettball and the Mouseaholics.
The game got off to a rocky start with only 1 team getting more than 4 points. However, we still had 4 bonus questions and 2 rounds to go. Mos Eisley Bandits and Darkside has Cookies took advantage or round 2 getting an amazing 7 points but Bobba Fetball were close behind nailing 5 points. With a 2-point lead going into the final round, would Darkside has Cookies hang on and take the win? Channeling their inner Sith, Darkside has Cookies took round 3 and the win in game 1. However, Mos Eisley Bandits and Bobba Fetball ended in a tie for second. Sticking with the theme of the night, 1 player from each team was asked a simple question: “How old was Yoda when he dies?” The team closest, with a guess of 795 took second! Congrats to Mos Eisley Bandits on a great guess and 2nd place win!
Game 2:
This was a tough game! Agan, Darkside has Cookies came to play. Just like game one, they channeled their inner Sith to take a quick lead over Mouseaholics, Bobba Fettball and The Todd Father. Jersey, Big Trass and Cowtown Jedis tried to hang in the game but by round 2 their deficit was too large. With a 2-point lead going into the final round, Darkside has Cookies were hanging onto the lead by a thread. Mos Eisley Bandits had a good round 3 and gathered ALL 6 bonus points to jump over Bobba Fetball and The Todd Father to claim second. Congrats to Dark Side has Cookies on taking game 2 as well!
