Game 1:
Pineapple, Mouseaholics, Hot Tequila, and Team Name Pending were among our regulars along with 2023.06, Papa Fritas and Sour Pusses. Would a new team upset our regulars?
An awesome round 1 where with 7 teams all getting 6 points. This was going to be a close game. With round 2 in the books, we had 5 teams score 7 points. This was going to be a crazy game that would come down to round 3 and bonus questions.
Our bonus questions were pop-culture related. Anything from Taylor Swift (How could I leave her out after 3 amazing nights of concerts) to Carrie. Overall, most teams did very well with this category and knew their pop-culture.
Round 3 was a game changer for 1 team. Tied for 2nd with 13 points and 6 bonus points, Hot Tequila chose the wrong time to get cold. With only 2 points in round 3 they left the door open for those behind them and the Mouseaholics took full advantage with 8 points in round 3 and jumping into 2nd place. Pineapple took 6 points in round 3 which was just enough to take 1st place by three points.

Game 2:
Bonus points were all on US Geography ranging from the Tallest Mountain, lowest point and the eastern most point in the US (which is not in Maine) …
Another decent start to the game with Hot Tequila in the lead with 12 points in 2 rounds. Would they hold onto 1st place this game? Pineapple and Mouseaholics were right behind them at 10 and 11 points.
Crater Lake, Death Valley, and other bonus answers were in play here and Hot Tequila was feeling good with 4 bonus points. However, as in game 1 Mouseaholics had an amazing round 3 and took 10 points. While they only had 3 bonus points, those 10 points were enough for them to leap over Hot Tequila and Pineapple and take 1st place. Pineapple took 5 points in round 3 which let them leap over Hot Tequila to take 2nd place. What a great game 2 and a great night of Trivia!

What a great ending to a fun night! It is always an exciting time during PubGuys Trivia at Cowtown Brewery Co. on Tuesday nights.
