...free beer and chicken dinner!  Well, beer can be free when you come join me at Cowtown Brewing Co. and you get first or second place!  Who does not like gift cards that can be used for beer and que!

Game 1:

We welcomed in new comers, Average Hoes to our trivia family.  It was a quaint night of trivia and we all had an amazing time.  At any point could a team take the game.  With just 3 points separating 1st to 3rd going into the final round, who would hold on?  We had the favorites, Hot Tequila in the mix pitted against the new comers, Average Hoes.  We also had (playing under a new name) Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner in the mix to take first.  There was no holding back the chicken though as they scored a perfect round 3 with 8 points.  Average Hoes were able to fend off Hot Tequila by getting more bonus points over the game.

Game 2:

We welcomed in 2 new teams for game two: Google that Shit and PeyDay.  Welcome aboard!  With 2 new teams would we see a tougher game?  You bet!  From the Uncanny X-Men to the 1908 Olympics it was a crazy game!  Did you know that Jean Grey was the first Marvel Girl?  Did you know the 2032 Summer Olympics were going to be in Brisbane, Australia?  My fans apparently know comics better as several teams got Jean Grey correct!  Average Hoes, took a 1 point lead in round 1, but the heavy weights, Hot Tequila, were hot on their heels (high heels that is).  Things heated up going into round 2, or more likely Hot Tequila heated up as they took round 2 and 3 by a total of 5 points.  Congrats to Hot Tequila on their 3 point victory and to Average Hoes for fending off Weapons of Mass Consumption (Formerly Spooning Leads to Forking) by 1 point.  

A big shout out to the Cowtown crew for the amazing service.  You always make my job easier by keeping the patrons beers cold and food hot!

I look forward to seeing you all next week as the weather will be a tad warmer!
