Game 1:
The excitement never ends at Cowtown Brewing Co.! With 1 round to go in Game 1 we had 5 teams all Celtic knotted up vying for first place. However, we had to have an end and who would it be showing their inner Ailm and find the strength to finish in first? The Knights who say Ni, Spooning Leads to Forking, Hot Tequila, Jersey! and Belgian Waffles were all tied at 18. Just as the Beatles broke up signing The Beatles Agreement in 1974 at Disney World, some teams found their score breaking up with the answers on their sheets. With a near perfect 3rd round, we saw The Knights who say Ni! take the win by a narrow, 1-point victory over Hot Tequila. Spooning Leads to Forking missed out on 2nd place by a mere 2 points. Jersey! and Belgian Waffles made a valiant effort but fell short, tying for 4th.
Game 2:
Second verse, same as the first…well almost. We had many of the same players going into round 3 looking for the win. However, we had 2 newcomers in the fight as well. Monkees and Bordeaux and Thibodeaux were in the mix for first. Many teams relied on lucky numbers and most picked 7 thinking that was the floor skipped most often in Chinese buildings, much like 13 is skipped in the US. However, they crapped out as the lucky number happened to be 4. With a role reversal in game 2 we saw Hot Tequila take first place by 3 points over The Knights who say Ni. Spooning leads Forking and Bordeaux and Thibodeaux both made a valiant effort, but their lucky number did not come up either.
