What a night at Cowtown Brewing Co.! Tuesday’s PubGuys Trivia game was an absolute blast from start to finish, and the packed house made it one to remember. With one thrilling game, six exciting rounds, and two bonus questions in each round, the energy was high, the competition fierce, and the beer flowing nonstop. If you missed it, you truly missed out on a special evening where brains met brews in the best way possible.
The taproom was electric as trivia regulars and first-timers alike gathered to test their knowledge. Every table was full, and Cowtown brought its A-game with cold pints and killer vibes. It’s no surprise—PubGuys Trivia always brings the fun, but this crowd? They elevated it. You could feel the intensity in the air as teams locked in, scribbling answers and celebrating every hard-earned point.
The battle for first place was tight all night, but in the end, it was Hot Tequila who claimed the trivia crown with a solid score of 39 points. Their strong performance across the rounds, especially their impressive 8-point finish in Round 6 and a perfect score on the bonus questions, helped them edge out the competition and seal the win.
Coming in hot on their heels was Gavels Gone Wild, who stayed competitive from Round 1 and ended with 37 points. They were steady, consistent, and clearly knew their stuff—but just missed out on the top spot by a mere two points.
Norm! came in third with 35 points, proving to be a tough contender, especially after crushing Round 4 with a strong 7-point showing. They kept things interesting all night and kept the pressure on the leaders until the very end.
Further down the leaderboard, Smarty Pints (32 points) lived up to their name and brought the laughs, while Baylorbaes (26 points) had a bit of a slow start but rallied hard in the back half with strong rounds and a killer bonus performance.
No Folk and Chance (25 points) showed grit, while Thank God Shawn Left (12 points) may not have topped the chart, but their energy and sense of humor made them fan favorites nonetheless.
Each round came with surprises, laughs, and cheers as players took on a mix of general knowledge, pop culture, and wild-card questions. Whether teams were aiming for the top or just in it for the brews and banter, everyone walked away with smiles—and maybe a little more trivia knowledge for next time.
