Game 1:

What a beautiful evening at Cowtown Brewery!  The Patio was packed because the weather was awesome.  Tonight, we had our regulars of: Hot Tequila and Pocket.  They would play against new teams such as: God did not save the queen, 2 Angry Irish Girls, Clowntown, Dam Riders, Beer Pressure and Pig-Pen.

2 rounds in and it was a tough fight!  Hot Tequila and Clowntown were sitting at the top tied at 11 points.  However, we had Pocket and God did not save the Queen were just 1 point behind.  Deck Picks has hanging tight too, just 2 points out of first.   My favorites, 2 Angry Irish Girls were also in the mix sitting at 8 points.  The challenge this game, was the Bonus questions that were all based off Batman.  These questions would be vital in the final scores of the teams!

Hot Tequila went cold in the final round, only getting 2 points, leaving an opening for other teams.  Pocket and God did not save the Queen took advantage, but would they catch up?  Clowntown and Deck Pics did their best to maintain their scores but fell just short dropping into 4^th and 5^th place.  2 Angry Irish Girls had a rough go in round 3 with only 2 points.

Like I mentioned, bonus points, bonus points, bonus points.  With10 (the max) bonus points, Hot Tequila was able to keep first place, however God did not save the Queen, with 9 bonus points did enough to make it a TIE!  Pocket hung in there with 7 bonus points but fell just short of the tie.

Our tie breaker question dealt with how many pounds the world’s largest cookie was in 2003.  With a guess of 2000 and 2500 pounds, we had our winner.  Congrats to Hot Tequila for guessing the closest at 2500 pounds.  The answer…an whopping 40000 pounds!

Game 2:

After such a close game 1, what would game 2 bring.  I know…more of the same!  Hot Tequila took a quick 4-point lead over the other teams after 2 rounds and would not look back.  However, this game was about 2^nd place.  We had God did not save the Queen sitting at 9 points and 2 Angry Irish Girls and Clowntown sitting at 8 points.  Pocket is always in the mix, but the 1^st 2 rounds were a little rough.  Could the bonus questions about NFL Mascots help them out?

Round 3 would be a decider in this game, so would the bonus points. Pocket showed the mettle with an amazing 6 points in round 3.  2 Angry Irish Girls and God did not save the Queen fought hard to make the top 2, but alas one team fell short.  God did not save their team fell just out of 2^nd place by 2 points.  Yet again…for 2^nd place, we had a tie between Pocket and 2 Angry Irish Girls

This time I wanted to know in a 750ml bottle of Champagne contains approximately how many bubbles.  We had a guess of 7500 and a guess of 20000.  the answer is amazing 49 million!  Congrats to 2 Angry Irish Girls on taking 2^nd place!
