Trivia nights at Cowtown Brewing Co. are legendary, and when The Angry Irishman takes the mic, you know you're in for a wild ride. The air is thick with anticipation as teams gather, armed with cold brews and delicious grub, ready to battle it out for the title of trivia champion.
In the first game of the night, the competition is fierce from the get-go. With the crowd buzzing and excitement palpable, Quiz in my Pants takes an early lead, showing off their impressive knowledge. But as the rounds progress, it's Got Here Late who emerges as the dark horse, pulling off an impressive 11-point round to snatch victory from Quiz in my Pants' grasp. Hot Tequila, determined to make it into the money, took 8 points in round 3, the second-highest score in the final round, but falling just short of the top 2 spots. Meanwhile, perennial favorites like A Drinking Team with a Trivia Problem and Smarty Pints hold their ground, rounding out the top six teams in a night filled with twists and turns.

As game two kicks off, tensions run high as teams vie for redemption or to maintain their winning streaks. Hot Tequila, fueled by their earlier near miss, comes out swinging, determined to claim victory. But they face stiff competition from Quiz in my Pants, who refuse to go down without a fight. Suck It, sitting pretty in third place, puts up a valiant effort, hoping to break into the top ranks. However, it's Peasant Workers who steal the show, pulling off a surprising upset with an impressive 11-point round, catapulting them into second place. But wait! Peasant Workers, as the Brewery Staff, cannot win so 2nd place went to Suck It! Got Here Late, Spooning Leads to Forking, and A Drinking Team with a Trivia Problem round out the top five, showcasing the diverse range of talent in the room.

As the final buzzer sounds, it's clear that tonight was a night to remember. Teams may have come in with different strategies and levels of expertise, but they all shared one thing in common: a fierce determination to come out on top. Whether they walked away with the coveted title of trivia champion or not, every participant contributed to the electric atmosphere, making it a night filled with camaraderie, competition, and, of course, plenty of beer. As The Angry Irishman bids farewell to the crowd, promising even more excitement for next week's trivia night, teams disperse into the night, already plotting their strategies for the next round of mind-bending questions and nail-biting competition at Cowtown Brewing Co.
A huge shout out to Christiana, Hannah, Patty, Samir and Max for taking care of the Teams tonight. You all keep the beers full; the food is delivered hot, and you make my life easier as I host Trivia.
