…for hosing up shipments. However, no food, no problem for the Cowtown trivia heads as we all had fun ordering our own grub and still enjoyed an amazing night of Trivia! Thanks to the Cowtown ownership, who had to deal with delayed shipments and allowed our teams to order and bring in their own food tonight.

Game 1:
We had a new team tonight start off hot with a 2-point lead in round 1. However, they were up against some heavy weights such as No Folk and Chance, Mouseaholics, Hot Tequila, Pineapple and The Yanks and the redcoats.
Going into round 3 we had 3 teams tied for 1st at 11 points and 3 additional teams just 1 or 2 points behind. This was going to be based on the bonus questions and round 3. Somehow it always comes to this at Cowtown Brewing Co.! With 7 points in round 3, newcomers Curly Loopers made a push to keep the lead, but they only netted 5 bonus points. With 6 points in round 3 and an amazing 7 of 8 bonus points, Pineapple did their best to take the top spot. Unfortunately for them the Mouseaholics were in the house who took 8 points in round 3 and with their 6 bonus points, they edged out Pineapple by a single point to take the win!
This was a great, close game as the top 3 teams were all within 1 point of each other. Tied for 4th and in the mix, we had No Folk and Chance and Hot Tequila. However, a slow start in round 1 kept them from getting into the top 2.

Game 2:
Game 2 started off much the same way as Curly Loopers started with an amazing 8 points taking a 2-point lead over The Yanks and the Redcoats and a 3-point lead over Pineapple, Hot Tequila and Mouseaholics.
The bonus questions were a little rough this round as they were all academy award based. If you knew them, you had a chance of winning as this was going to be another close game. Going into round 3 we had The Yanks and the Redcoat and Pineapple tied at 12. Just behind at 11 points we had The Mouseaholics. Hot Tequila was struggling with just 7 points, but never count them out as they can get hot at any time! Every point will count in round 3!
When you are hot, you are hot and Hot Tequila nailed round 3 with an amazing 10 points! With 5 points and 3 bonus points, we had Pineapple at 20 points edging out The Yanks and the Redcoats by a single point…yes, we had a tie as Hot Tequila surprised everyone with the 10 points and jumping up to a tie in 1st. Curly Loopers and Mouseaholics were just 2 points out sitting in a tie for 4th at 18 points. What another great game.
We had 1 tie breaker question and a single answer from 1 team member, we had our winners!
