We had our beer, we had our que, and the A/C had just been updated earlier this morning, so it was a great night for Trivia! I had some amazing teams out tonight as Darrell’s Slutty Sister, Hot Tequila, Another Round and Most Moisties came out to have some fun. They would match their knowledge against several new teams such as Wolfpack, Chomp Chomp and team 4 eyes.
2 Rounds down and Darrell’s Slutty Sister and Wolfpack were sitting at 12 points with a 1-point lead over Chomp Chomp and Team 4 eyes and 2 points over local leaders, Hot Tequila. Our bonus questions were all about Arthropods and this would come into play…maybe. With our top 4 teams getting 4 out of 6 bonus points, the score for round 3 would be key. However, our top 3 teams all took 5 points in round 3 leaving them separated by a single point as Darrell’s Slutty Sister took the win with 22 points just 1 point over newcomers, Chomp Chomp. Hot Tequila finished in 3rd at 20 and we had a tie for 4th with 2 teams sitting at 19. This was as close as it can get without a tie! I knew game 2 was going to be just as good.

Game 2:
It was a tough go in round 1 as 6 of the teams only took 3 out of 6 points. Most Moisties took 5 points and were thinking to take the W in game 2. With 6 points in round 2, Hot Tequila saw themselves sitting in 1st place with a 1-point lead as Most Moisties only took 3 points in round 2. Rocklyn Twins were finding their stride and were within striking distance going into round 3 but fell 1 point shy of tying for 2nd place. With 5 bonus questions, based on Cards, Card Games and Famous Card Players, Hot Tequila took a 4-point lead and the W in game 2! Most Moisties, with the 5 points in round 1, did just enough to stay afloat in round 3 to take 2nd place by 1 point over Wolfpack and Rocklyn Twins. Chomp Chomp did well but were resting on their laurels as they ended up in a 3-way tie for 5th.
It was a great night for Trivia and the teams were competing hard!

A huge shout out to Christiana, Hannah, Nate, Addi, and Darryl for taking care of the players tonight. You all keep the beers full; the food is delivered hot, and you make my life easier as I get to host Trivia.
