Game 1:
11 Teams on our first night of the year and the games were on! We had The yanks and the Redcoat, Simplitons, and Mouseahilics taking on some newcomers, like: Team Matthews, Das Gewinners, Vircotrius Thundercats and others!
2 rounds in and we had a great game on our hands. Simplitons, The yanks and the readcoat and Mouseaholics were all knotted at 13 points. We had Broke legs and broke hearts tied at 10 points with Das Gewinners and Victorius Thundercats. This would come down to the bonus points, all based on the periodic table. Who would sink like Pb and who would shine like Au? We would see heading into round 3!
Team Matthews took the round with an amazing 8 points, but would it be enough to move them into the top 2? Simplitons, The Yanks and The Redcoat and Das Gewinners all took 6 points in round 3 and 2 of our top 3 teams received 6 bonus points, keeping the first game from a tie but having just a single point separate 1st from 2nd and 2nd from 3rd. What a great game to start 2023!

Game 2:
We had a couple of new teams join us in game 2 with Don’t Judge us and Woodford reserve distillery!
The Mouseaholics to exception to not placing and came out gnawing at the ropes in game 2. With an amazing 13 points in 2 rounds, they were making a statement! Newcomers Woodford reserve however came to play and were sitting just 1 point behind at 12. Our winners from game 1 were having a tough go sitting back in 5th place going into round 3. Our bonus questions this round dealt with crime and criminals!
One team started slow with 3 points in round 1 and only 4 points in round 2 but with an amazing 10 points in round 3 and 5 bonus questions they found themselves leaping over Woodford Reserve, Simplitons and Team Matthews to land in 2nd place! What a great ending for Don’t judge us! However, those pesky rodents, the Mouseaholics, started strong and finished stronger with 8 points in round 3 and the W for game 2! Woodford Rese
