Game 1:
It was another great week at Cowtown Brewing Co.! The patio was open, 4-legged fur babies were all around and we had Trivia on the agenda!
It was going to be one of those nights where the bonus points and round 3 would make or break your score! With Norse Mythology as the bonus question them, we would test the teams on Odin, Freya, and much more!
2 rounds in and we had a tie at the top between Jerk Store and A drinking team with a trivia problem. However, just 1 point behind was I Quizzed my pants and Disaster. Simplitons were back in the house, we have missed you, and were also close, just 3 points out of 1st.
As we tightened up our thinking caps and got ready for round 3, we all realized how close this game was going to be. Would we have a tie? Would we have a shuffle at the top? Well, A Drinking team with a Trivia Problem refused to let off the gas and with all 8 bonus points and 6 points in round 3, they channeled their inner Odin and ruled Azgard in game 1 as they took the W. Jerk Store did just enough to maintain their place in 2nd. Simplitons, I quizzed my pants and Disaster rounded out our top 5 teams.

Game 2:
Here we go with a new game and some fresh beers! Game 2 would be close too! We all found out how much we knew about George Clooney, as that was my themed bonus questions for game 2!
The Other Guys were making a statement as they came out swinging and took 1st with 12 points after 2 rounds. Price was in the mix as well, just 2 points behind. I quizzed my pants and Jerk Store were also in the mix, just 3 points behind. A drinking team with a trivia problem was still celebrating their victory in game one and found themselves suddenly down 5 points and looking up a steep cliff. However, stranger things have happened at Cowtown Brewing Co. on Trivia Night.
With a stellar round 3, I quizzed my pants, made a charge to the top of the peak with an incredible 8 points for the round, and tried to plant their flag first. Alas, they were denied by 1 point as they found themselves tied with Price in 3rd place just a single point behind our top 2 teams who TIED at 19 points. Another Tuesday, another tie, another single questions, 10 seconds and a decision of 1st and 2nd place.
I threw out a quick bonus question and had 2 answers in my hand. And just like that, we knew the fate of our sacrificial lambs. There can be only 1 and Jerk Store showed their mettle as they took down The Other Guys to take 1st place.

A huge shout out to Christiana, Hannah, CJ, and Darryl for taking care of the Teams tonight. You all keep the beers full; the food is delivered hot, and you make my life easier as I host Trivia.
