Game 1:
A nice, cool evening at Cowtown Brewing Co. as we all gathered to play some PubGuys Trivia! As the food was served, the pints were filled, we got our brain teasing on!
With 2 rounds in, Hot Tequila, who had cooled off over the past couple of weeks, were proving why they are a consistent winner. With 11 points, they had a 2-point lead over Cowtown Cowgirls and I quizzed my pants and a 3 point lead over Darryl Sucks and Rumple Foreskins. The teams that follow The Angry Irishman knew that the bonus questions for this game were all on the Material Girl – Madonna! These bonus points would come into play, as they always do.
Cowtown Cowgirls and Darryl Sucks made their move in round 3 taking 6 points for the round. Mr. Solo Dolo knew his material world as he took an amazing 6 bonus points, but with a sluggish round 2, he fell 1 point shy of 2nd place. Cowtown Cowgirls and Rumple Foreskin fought hard, but they rounded out our top 5, taking 4th and 5th place. With 6 points, as well, in round 3, and 5 bonus points, Hot Tequila remained hot and they increased their lead to 4 points, taking 1st with 22 points and exacted revenge on Darryl Sucks for last week as they left them in 2nd place.

Game 2:
“I solemnly swear that I am up to no good” – yes, our bonus questions were all Harry Potter based for game 2! How would our teams fare?
Maintaining their hot streak, Hot Tequila, was sitting in 1st place at 12 points after 2 rounds. Cowtown Cowgirls were in the mix sitting 2 points behind at 10 points. I quizzed my pants had a great round 1 but got stuck in a bear trap in round 2, with only 1 point. The Girls Room was locked as they found themselves sitting in 8th place with 3 points. Could they find their way out of the room? They hoped so as they had a side bet against, I quizzed my pants that the losing team would but a round of beers! These teams make it so much fun being a host at Cowtown Brewing Co.!
Round 3 was away and getting torched by a Hungarian Horntail, I quizzed my pants, were left smoldering as they only received 1 point in round 3. The Girls Room channeled their inner moaning Myrtle, as they flushed I quizzed my pants chances of beating them down the drain. The Girls Room, with an amazing 8 points in round 3, won their side bet as they beat out I quizzed my pants 14-13. A Drinking team with a Trivia problem did their best to catch up with a great round 3, taking 7 points, but they fell just short and finished 4th. Misfits knew their O.W.L.’s and took 8 out of 9 bonus points and with their 7 points in round 3, they thought they had a chance to get into the money, but alas, they were stuck in 3rd place. If the Cowtown Cowgirls could have received more points in round 3, they would have challenged for 1st place, but with only 2 points in the final round, they ended 3 points short leaving Hot Tequila in 1st! But wait, we are a fair play environment and Cowtown Cowgirls could not take 2nd place as they work at Cowtown. As we always do, they relinquished 2nd place which means Misfits would end up taking 2nd place!

A huge shout out to Christiana, Hannah, Sam, and Max for taking care of the Teams tonight. You all keep the beers full; the food is delivered hot, and you make my life easier as I host Trivia.
