Apologies on the late write-up as it has been a crazy week for The Angry Irishman as he moves. Sadly, this will be short and sweet.
We had 11 amazing teams come out tonight and play! It was a great time even though the weather was chilly, the food was hot, and beer was cold and flowing! We had some regulars tonight, such as Pineapple, Pocket, No Folk and Chance and Jersey! The competed against some newcomers: Baby Boilers, Q2 Turns, Old enough to know better and others.
Game 1:
Game 1 came down to the final round and final bonus questions as Pineapple and No Folk and Chance were going into this round 1st and 2nd. Hopefully we would not have another game end in a tie, but with this crowd you never know. With an amazing 8 points and 4 bonus points, No Folk and Chance were able to fight their way back and end up taking 1st place by a single point! Pineapple was just short, missing 1 question in round 3 that left them in 2nd place looking up. Pocket and The Yank and the Redcoat had a great game, but with a tough round 1 and 2, they just could not overcome the deficit.

Game 2:
Game 2 we had much of the same and going into round 3 we had the same 2 teams just 1 point apart, with Pineapple in the lead again, just ahead of No Folk and Chance. However, The Yank and the Redcoat came to play in game 2 and were up by 3 points over 2nd place and seemed the likely winner of game 2! However, with an amazing 10 points and 5 bonus points, Pineapple took game 2 by 3 points leaving No Folk and Chance and The Yanks and the redcoat knotted at 25. Yes, a bonus tie breaker question for game 2! I knew these teams could not end the night without a tie!
With a single answer on the tie breaker question, we had our 2nd place team! Congrats to No Folk and Chance!
