Yeah, you read that correctly. In case you haven't yet figured out, the title of these wonderful little blurbs to brighten your week is a simple compilation of the winning teams on the night. If you can deduce those teams at this point, I suppose you have no need to read further.... Oh, but you know you want to.....

Cold weather and rain be damned. We have trivia to play. As the local favorites poured into World of Beer (see what I did there?), the scene was set for another epic night of DFW's hottest, and coolest trivia! Game one featured a wire-to-wire victory for Quiz in My Pants. Coming in second, and winning a World of Beer gift card was the long-awaited, much anticipated return of The 5-Hole Returns.

The Power Hour introduced some new faces to the game, and we quickly realized that there would be no runaway victory in this second stanza. In a sprint to the finish, and quite the battle, Dum Dum prevailed by a single point over our Game 1 winners, Quiz in My Pants. Finishing in third, only because of a late start (is what they'll tell you), was My Liver's OK!

All in all, another great night of trivia with your friendly neighborhood PubGuys

Things to be on the lookout for:

  • An entire night dedicated to Star Wars is coming up, so be sure to subscribe to our newsletter for more info
  • The 3rd Annual PubGuys NCAA Tournament Challenge is coming up as well. Details here. (though the information is from last year)
  • The PubGuys Trivia League will be starting shortly, so keep an eye out for more details..... don't worry, it's free.

And finally, some of the things we learned tonight:

  • The 2010 Winter Olympics were apparently held in Laredo, TX.
  • The Joad family was featured in the 1939 John Steinbeck novel we now as The Bible.
  • The mineral "Pollution and dead hookers" makes up about 4% of the oceans.
  • K is the symbol for the element Krunk.
  • Salsburg is the capital of Australia.
  • And, there are 90 presidential libraries in the state of Texas.

See you next week! Cheers!!
