Another fantastic, if a bit warm, evening of trivia at the always-delightful Dr. Jeckyll's Beer Lab in Pantego, TX. The evening started with a few hiccoughs as a) my laptop decided that that moment and that time was when a slew of updates needed to be applied while, at the same time, the in-house wireless was deciding to flake. However, as we always do, we got through it and had a grand evening of facts and factoids. 

Round one was one of those where pretty much everyone knew every answer so we went into round two with purt-near an 8-way tie for first. However, the second round proved a bit difficult for some and the separation started occurring. Surprisingly, though, there was not a lot of separation as the scores stayed very tight and close to the very end. In fact, I had to do a tie-breaker for 2nd place. That's how close things were. 

In the very end, though, it was Beers for Fears who came out on top and Drink 182 who took second after guessing closer to the total number of points Kareem Abdul-Jabbar scored in his career than did Double Dragon (and still they were more than 34000 points off).
