It was another very nice evening in The Wolf Den at False Idol Brewing this week, and we had 13 teams and about 50 players joining us for some amazing beer and FREE trivia with PubGuys. When the weather's nice they always have the garage doors wide open at False Idol, so you get a bit of fresh air and a cool breeze to go along with your beer. They also have Daddy B's food truck in the parking lot, serving up some unique plates that are very delicious. Each week there're 6 rounds in the game, with a bonus Kitchen Timer round at the end. Also each round the 1st place team for the round gets a set of beer tasters for their table. Awesome beer, FREE trivia, and fresh air, why not come out?

Game Summary

This week Idiots in the Back and Bronze Medalers returned, as well as two other regular teams going by different names: Simon & Simon Sez and No Jake Tonight. Each round was very close, but there were fewer ties this week than the previous two weeks. That being said we still had two tie breakers at the end of the game, one for the winner of Round 6 and one for the overall game win. In the end Bronze Medalers almost took the win but at the very last minute they were knocked out of 1st place by No Jake Tonight and Idiots in the Back. Once again we rolled out the big ol' book of tiebreakers (that's not a book at all) to determine the winner, and Idiots in the Back took home the final $50 gift card grand prize. Here's a question that stumped everyone: 

• What is the name of the hospital at which Beth works?

It may not have been clear from the wording but the theme for this question was television, and it was referring to the show Rick and Morty. I couldn't say too much otherwise I'd give it away, but I did give them a hint to think of adult animated shows. Despite that we still had teams guessing General Hospital, Grey's Anatomy, and even ER. The correct answer was:

• St. Equis

It looks like next week is going to be another clear and cool night, so that's a great recipe for a fun trivia night. False Idol always has something new every week, and the beer tenders are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet, some come on out to The Wolf Den on Thursday nights for PubGuys trivia.
