There was a major turnout this week in The Wolf Den at False Idol Brewing! This week we had 12 teams and about 46 players, the most I've had since I started host trivia here a few months ago. There's a good reason, too: great beer and FREE trivia! Each time you come out you can Steal the Glass when you buy one of their select beers, and you can also win free beer for your team if you get 1st place for the round! The final team that gets overall 1st place also get a $50 gift card to False Idol! They also have an amazing food truck outside as well, so you can grab a bite while washing it down with some exclusive beers.

Game 1

This week had a truncated version of one of our regular teams, with Double Dragon coming in to represent them while the rest of them were out. We also had the return of another two-person team, Lady & The Champ as well. Strong contenders IPA Lot made sure they had their game faces on, and there were a lot of new faces in The Wolf Den this week, with Real Human Bartenders, The Goonies, and The Misfits all coming out for the chance at free beer and a $50 gift card! This week the two person teams outscored the larger teams quite often, and Double Dragon, one of those two person teams, ended up winning the entire game! Just goes to show that having more people on the team doesn't guarantee victory. Here's one that stumped everyone:

That's a tough one! Some people guessed Catcher In the Rye, and some people thought it was Charles Dickens. They were partially correct, for the author, but the answer we were looking for was:

It was a fun night at False Idol and I only get the feeling it's going to be more packed as the weather gets better. Each week the debut a new beer, and they have some very awesome merchandise as well.
