Another fun night in The Wolf Den with False Idol Brewing! We had 7 teams join us tonight for beers and cheers! Naturally we had some frequent-fliers the Bronze Medalers and The Flame and the Void! Newcomers Phat Pat and & The Fabulous Four, JAG-Asses, and Fuckrudders also joined the fray! Honorable mention goes out to Empty Pockets and, the most creative team name this time, The Three Must-Get-Beers!
False Idol released a fantastic IPA tonight with just the right amount of hops, with the name Energy! It was a very close game with Phat Pat and the Bronze Medalers going toe-to-toe in several rounds! We had two ties for 2nd and 3rd place but ultimately Phat Pat and & The Fabulous Four pulled out the win with a score of 41 points! Fuckrudders and Bronze Medalers tied for second and JAG-Asses and The Flame and the Void tied for 3rd. Can you believe that The Flame and the Void showed up in Round 3 and still managed to get 3rd place after missing half the game? Insanity! Future teams WATCH OUT!
Don't forget that even if you don't win the whole game, and subsequent $50 Gift Card, you can still win some free beer if you win 1st place of your round! The team that gets first place for their round gets up to 6 beer tasters for their team! Not as bad deal for NO ENTRY FEE TO PLAY, I'd say! Make sure to show up every Thursday from 7 to 9 PM!
