This week everyone was dressed in green for St. Patrick's day at False Idol Brewing! I wasn't wearing green up top but coincidentally put on my shoes with green laces, so I was pinch-proof. As always the fantastic staff in The Wolf Den were serving up their amazing beers, and giving out pint glasses for their Pint Night as well. If you didn't know, we're always here every Thursday from 7 to 9 PM with FREE trivia and a chance to win a $50 gift card or free beer tasters for your team. Every 2nd and 5th round is a Theme Round, and the final round also has a bonus Kitchen Timer round. If you're even remotely good at trivia, and you enjoy delicious beer, you owe it to yourself to come out!
Game Summary
There were over 15 teams and more than 50 players going at it this week for the final 1st place prize of a $50 gift card. Coming back this week we had The Flame and the Void, Fools in the Back, Bronze Medalers, and Smarty Pints, amongst others. We also had several new teams like Kiss Me I'm Texan, 12 Jennys, Luck of the Amish, and The Kilts. Most of the game Luck of the Amish took 1st place for the round, scoring beer tasters of their choice for their team. Another new team, Clay's Harem, also stuck it out throughout the game and almost made it into the top three. At the end of the game the two-person team Fools in the Back ended up beating Bronze Medalers by ONE point to take home the prize. I think they probably took that last point during the Kitchen Timer round, which usually gives everyone an opportunity to score 10 extra points. Here's one question that stumped all but one team:

We had teams guessing all the colors of the rainbow, but the most common answer was red. That would have been almost gruesome to see, but the correct answer was:
As you can see it's a fair game to anyone, no matter how many people show up! A two person team beat out over 40 other players! And I promise you nobody was using their cell phones, because someone would have told me. I also have eyes like a fox (or should I say WOLF), so don't think you can get away with cheating if you decide to come out. False Idol Brewing always has a new beer on draft every week, so no week is exactly the same! Come on out and support your local brewery and have some fun with FREE PubGuys trivia!
