The weather has forced us inside once again, and I fear the impending cold could keep us here for a while. (I'm optimistic about next Thursday, but we'll have to see.) So, how'd things go?
Rounds 1 and 2 fell to the Fantastic 4 — the former in a narrow edge, and the latter in a perfect-card sweep.
Rounds 3 and 4 were spicy. A solo Misa put up back-to-back dubs, besting the Four by three and then a single point.
The Four took that as shots across the bow, and volleyed back with their own four-point victory in Round 5. We ended Round 6 in a three-way tie: Nic and the Cages, Misa, and newcomers R & T faced off in what I admit was an absurd tie-breaker:
In 2024, Andre Ortolf, a serial world record-holder with more than 100 titles to his name, broke the world record for fastest time to assemble a Mr. Potato Head while blindfolded. How fast did he put the spud together?
The answer? 12.11 seconds. The closest guess? R & T with 14 seconds. Why Guinness tracks this absurd record? We'll never know.
