We had TexCub, Brett’s Baby Mama, LLR, Dimestore Drinkers and Total Recall joining us again! They would face off with some new teams, Double Trouble. Modelo Citizen was in the house again too! Would one of our regulars pull off a victory? Could a new team take down the regulars? We would see!
2 rounds in and we had a game on our hands. Total Recall, Dimestore Drinkers and TexCub were all sitting in a tie for 1st at 11 points. Modelo Citizen was just 1 point out of being in that tie.
With an amazing 16 points between rounds 3 and 4, Dimestore Drinkers were poised to take 1st. Could they hang on though as they were just 3 points ahead of TexCub and 4 points ahead of Total Recall. Modelo Citizens were in a fight for 2nd or 3rd, sitting at 27 points. This would be a great finish!
Round 6 had some fun questions. From a Satyr to the President’s Cup, you had to know your stuff in round 6. Not that it was impossible, but this game was not going to be a gimme game. Total Recall showed why he is a powerhouse of 1 with an amazing 10 points in the final round. However, Dimestore Drinkers and TexCub were not going to give up that easy. With 8 points in round 6 and some awesome bonus question answers, TexCub nudged out Total Recall, taking 2nd place by a single point. Dimestore Drinkers took 7 points and got some amazing bonus answers to finish the game with an amazing 44 points, just edging out TexCub by a single point. What an amazing game we had this night, and I cannot wait to see what next week brings!
