… and I don't know where I am goin' to. Silk suit, black tie...just call me Snorky or just know that was one of Al Capone’s nicknames and that he put “Used Furniture Dealer” on his business cards. Tonight’s trivia only got better from there!
We had some of our regulars make an appearance tonight: Couple of Hayters, TexCub, Dimestore Drinkers, Dos Millers, Gym Bros & Hoes and Brett’s baby mama. They were out competing for a win against some new teams: Flux Capacitors, Sexy Trash, P&J, killing me Smalls, and Delinquents, to name a few.
Now that we got the sharp dressed man, Snorky, out of the way with the first question of the night, what else would we see!?!?
With 2 rounds down, we saw the heavyweights, TexCub, have a smart start and were sitting at the top with 13-points. Dimestore Drinkers were in the mix as well as they were back in town and looking to play! And play well they did, just 2-points behind TexCub. Newcomers, Sexy Trash, were fighting hard to stay in the mix and were doing well, just 2 points out of 2nd place but had a 2-point lead over Gym Bros and Hoes and Delinquents.
Tied, going into the 5th round, we had a heavyweight match on our hands between TexCub and Dimestore Drinkers. However, in round 5 we saw Dimestore Drinkers take too long ordering a drink as they slipped and let TexCub take a 3-point lead over them going into the final round. Sexy Trash and Delinquents had their own fight going for 3rd with Sexy Trash sitting at 22 points and Delinquents sitting at 20. However, both of those teams were still in the mix for 2nd place.
Our final round was going to be a doozy and Mummer’s would be the word. Which is a Parade hosted by the city of Philadelphia. That question was a show changer for several teams. TexCub and Dimestore Drinkers took this game to the final question and each team received an amazing 10 points in the final round. However, thanks to the 3-point gimme in round 5, TexCub took the win! Congrats to Dimestore Drinkers on taking 2nd and our new team, Sexy Trash, on taking 3rd.
