Thursday night at Keyworth Brewing Co. was another absolute blast! The brewery was packed, the crowd was amazing, and the competition brought plenty of excitement for two games of PubGuys Trivia. With three rounds per game and random bonus questions sprinkled throughout, teams had plenty of opportunities to earn points, make moves, and fight for those top spots!
Before we get into the action, I owe everyone a big THANK YOU for playing along with a shortened night. I had to make an early exit to celebrate my wife's birthday, so I appreciate everyone coming out, bringing the energy, and making it another memorable Thursday at Keyworth. Family first, trivia always!
Nine teams kicked off the evening, and things started out incredibly tight. After Round 1, five teams were separated by just a single point, with Did You Know? We Don't Know, Last Call Legends, Mom's Here for the Beer, and Killer Rabbits all putting together strong opening performances.
Round 2 didn't do much to separate the leaders. Did You Know? We Don't Know and Last Call Legends remained tied at 9 points, while Killer Rabbits quietly moved into contention with a solid 5-point round. Pivot was also hanging around, setting themselves up for a potential late charge.
Then came Round 3, and the leaderboard got interesting! Did You Know? We Don't Know and Last Call Legends both delivered 7-point rounds to maintain their positions at the top. Pivot matched that 7-point performance, jumping into a tie for third with Mom's Here for the Beer. Unfortunately for the chasing teams, the leaders had done enough to hold their ground.
Game 1 Top 3:
1st – Did You Know? We Don't Know (21 points)
2nd – Last Call Legends (19 points)
3rd – Mom's Here for the Beer & Pivot (18 points)
After a quick reset, nine teams returned for another three rounds of trivia action. And if Game 1 was competitive, Game 2 took things to another level!
Round 1 saw Pivot come out swinging with an impressive 7 points, taking an early lead. Last Call Legends followed closely with 6, while everyone else was looking to keep pace.
Round 2 brought a major leaderboard shake-up! Last Call Legends turned up the heat with an outstanding 8-point round, pulling into a tie for first with Pivot at 14 points. Did You Know? We Don't Know also put together a strong 6-point round, climbing into the mix with 10 points. We had ourselves a race!
Round 3 saw Pivot deliver a steady 6 points to secure the victory with 25 overall. Did You Know? We Don't Know finished strong with 7 points, while Last Call Legends couldn't quite keep pace, finishing with 22. That left a tie for second place!
A tie-breaker was required, with one player from each team getting 10 seconds to submit an answer. Congratulations to Did You Know? We Don't Know for taking the tie-breaker and securing second place!

1st – Pivot (25 points)
2nd – Did You Know? We Don't Know (22 points, tie-breaker winner)
3rd – Last Call Legends (22 points)
What a night! Congratulations to all our winners, and a special shoutout to Pivot for turning things around in Game 2. Did You Know? We Don't Know also had themselves quite a night, landing in the top two in BOTH games!
Thank you to everyone who came out, filled the brewery, enjoyed some great beer, and made Thursday night so much fun. The competition is always tough, the atmosphere is always fantastic, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
