Thursday night at Keyworth Brewing Co. was another absolute blast! The brewery was packed, the crowd was incredible, and the competition brought plenty of excitement across two games of PubGuys Trivia. With three rounds per game and random bonus questions sprinkled throughout, there was no shortage of brainpower, big scores, and good-natured shenanigans!
Before we get into the action, a quick thank-you to everyone who came out and played! I had to make an early exit to celebrate my wife's birthday, so I appreciate everyone rolling with the shortened evening. Family comes first, but you guys made sure the trivia fun continued!
We kicked things off with eight teams ready to battle it out.
Round 1: Hot Tequila, Killer Rabbits, and Something Random all came out swinging with 5 points. Hot Tequila and Killer Rabbits looked ready to make some noise early, but the leaderboard was wide open.
Round 2: Hot Tequila turned up the heat with an impressive 9-point round, taking over first place with 14 points. Last Call Legends put together a solid 5-point round to move into second with 9, while Killer Rabbits stayed close behind. The competition was tightening up!
Round 3: Hold on to your drinks! Last Call Legends unleashed an incredible 11-point final round to storm into a tie for first with Hot Tequila, who finished with a respectable 6 points. Killer Rabbits also delivered an 8-point finish to secure third place.
With Hot Tequila and Last Call Legends tied at 21 points, it was time for the tie-breaker! One player from each team stepped up, had 10 seconds to submit an answer, and the pressure was on. After the dust settled, Hot Tequila came away with the tie-breaker victory!
GAME 1 TOP 3
1st – Hot Tequila (21 points, tie-breaker winner)
2nd – Last Call Legends (21 points)
3rd – Killer Rabbits (19 points)
After the first game's fireworks, everyone was back for another three rounds of trivia action.
Round 1: Densa grabbed an early lead with 5 points, while Hot Tequila followed closely with 4. Last Call Legends and several other teams were right in the mix.
Round 2: Hot Tequila turned up the pressure with another strong 6-point round, moving into first place with 10 points. Last Call Legends matched that 6-point effort and stayed in contention with 9, while Densa held steady at 9. It was shaping up to be another tight finish!
Round 3: Hot Tequila slammed the door with an impressive 8-point final round, finishing with 27 points and pulling away from the competition. Densa added 3 points to finish second with 22, while Last Call Legends also added 3 to claim third with 21.

1st – Hot Tequila (27 points)
2nd – Densa (22 points)
3rd – Last Call Legends (21 points)
