Keyworth Brewing Co. was absolutely buzzing Thursday night for another epic installment of PubGuys Trivia. The house was packed, the competition was fierce, and the vibes were exactly what you’d expect from Arlington’s favorite place for cold beer and smart fun. With two high-energy games on tap—each with 3 rounds and a bonus—the evening delivered back-to-back battles for trivia supremacy.

Game 1 Recap: A Nail-Biter to the Finish

Game 1 kicked off strong with eleven teams eager to outwit, outscore, and out-fact their neighbors. Early momentum belonged to Did You Know? We Don’t Know, who jumped out front after Round 1 with a game-high 7 points. But the rest of the pack wasn’t far behind—Clarksters and Kid Free Parents both sat within striking distance, and things were heating up fast.

Round 2 tightened the standings as nearly all the top teams posted 5s, with no major gaps emerging. But it was Round 3 where things truly shifted—Clarksters and Kid Free Parents each dropped a clutch 8-pointer to leap into the lead. With just the bonus question left, the game became a dead heat.

And wouldn’t you know it—both Clarksters and Kid Free Parents nailed the bonus, finishing in a tie at 20 points each! It was a photo finish, with Did You Know? We Don’t Know closing strong as well with 18, just two points shy of the leaders.

Honorable mentions to Walking Talking Stephen Hawking and Meet the Parents, who each turned in solid 15-point performances and kept the middle of the leaderboard spicy.

Game 2 Recap: The Redemption Game

If Game 1 was a marathon, Game 2 was a sprint—and Did You Know? We Don’t Know came back with a vengeance. After falling just short in the opener, they exploded out of the gate with a strong 6 in Round 1, matched only by the Killer Rabbits and Blue Tailed Hawks. But it was in Round 2 that they really took over, posting a near-flawless 9 and establishing a commanding lead.

Killer Rabbits stayed in the mix thanks to a solid 8 in Round 1 and a massive 3-point bonus that almost closed the gap by the end. They finished just one point behind with 20 total—definitely a team to watch in the coming weeks.

Kid Free Parents, Game 1 co-winners, had another solid showing early with matching 6s and 9s in the first two rounds, but a rare stumble in Round 3 (zero points) knocked them out of contention and into third place with 17.

Meanwhile, Clarksters looked gassed from their Game 1 win, managing only 11 points, while newcomers All Balls No Chain and Blue Tailed Hawks posted respectable mid-table finishes.

Final Thoughts

The trivia, the beer, the crowd—it all came together for an electric night at Keyworth Brewing Co. Every team brought energy, wit, and a competitive edge that made both games a blast. Whether you left with a win or just a good laugh, one thing was certain: Thursday nights at Keyworth are the place to be.
