Thursday night at Keyworth Brewing Co. delivered another unforgettable edition of PubGuys Trivia, and the brewery was absolutely buzzing from start to finish. Every table was packed, the crowd brought incredible energy, and the competition was fierce across two action-packed games featuring three rounds each and random bonus questions throughout the night. Big scores, dramatic swings, and a tie-breaker showdown made this one for the books!
Game 1 exploded right out of the gate with several teams coming out hot. Miss and Fibs, Killer Rabbits, Did You Know? We Don’t Know, Ryan Sucks, and The Poppy Ollies all posted strong opening rounds, with multiple teams dropping 7 points immediately.
After Round 2, the leaderboard tightened considerably. Miss and Fibs maintained the lead with 11 total points after steady play, while Killer Rabbits sat close behind at 11 as well thanks to consistent scoring and bonus points. G Force quietly stayed alive despite a slower start, while The Cliff Clavens and Did You Know? We Don’t Know remained within striking distance heading into the final round.
Then came Round 3 — and Miss and Fibs absolutely detonated the scoreboard.
An incredible 11-point final round plus bonus points launched them to a commanding 25-point finish, the highest score of Game 1 by a wide margin. Behind them, G Force surged with a massive 9-point round to pull even with Killer Rabbits at 19 points.
That meant a tie-breaker for second place.
One player from each tied team stepped forward. Ten seconds on the clock. Pens moving fast. The brewery fell silent as answers were handed in. When the final answer was revealed, G Force edged out Killer Rabbits to claim second place honors.
Game 1 Top 3:
1st – Miss and Fibs – 25
2nd – G Force – 19 (TB Winner)
3rd – Killer Rabbits – 19
A dominant finish by Miss and Fibs, who turned a close contest into a runaway victory with one explosive final round.
If Game 1 ended loudly, Game 2 somehow got even bigger.
Miss and Fibs came into the second game with momentum and immediately kept the pressure on, posting 7 points in Round 1 alongside The Cliff Clavens. Killer Rabbits and Last Call Legends stayed close with strong starts of their own.
Then Round 2 changed everything.
Miss and Fibs and Killer Rabbits both erupted for huge 11-point rounds, instantly separating themselves from the field. At the halfway point, Miss and Fibs led with 18 while Killer Rabbits sat just behind at 16. The Cliff Clavens and Last Call Legends each posted impressive 10-point second rounds to stay alive, but they still had work to do entering the final stretch.
Round 3 kept the intensity sky high. Miss and Fibs added another 8 points plus a bonus to close with an incredible 27-point total — the highest score of the entire night. Killer Rabbits matched the 8-point final round but finished just short at 25. The Cliff Clavens secured third with 22 after another strong overall performance.
Game 2 Top 3:
1st – Miss and Fibs – 27
2nd – Killer Rabbits – 25
3rd – The Cliff Clavens – 22
