At Keyworth Brewing Co., Halloween arrived early this week, bringing a night full of spooky fun, costumes, and trivia. Hosted by The Angry Irishman, this Halloween-themed trivia event blended scary movies, classic television, and eerie traditions into two thrilling games that tested teams’ knowledge of all things creepy and spooky. With themed questions and intense competition, the excitement was palpable from the very first round.
Game 1: A Spirited Start
The teams quickly got into the Halloween spirit with some classic horror film and ghost story questions. "Did You Know? We Don’t Know" started the night with an impressive run, leading by two points after the first two rounds. Club Shay Shay kept the pressure on, staying just behind the leaders and proving they were in for a serious fight. Meanwhile, Spooky Beshes, Hook 'Em, Spooky-Headed Ninny Muggins, and Bad News Bears joined the Halloween trivia fray, proving their horror and Halloween knowledge with some clever answers.
In Round 3, "Did You Know? We Don’t Know" showed their spooky smarts by scoring an impressive seven points, securing their victory and showcasing their vast Halloween knowledge. Club Shay Shay managed to rack up five points in the final round, aiming for second place, only to find themselves in an unexpected tie with the Spooky Beshes, who also scored seven points in Round 3. With two teams tied, the host threw out a tiebreaker question, but even that wasn’t enough to settle the score. In the spirit of Halloween generosity, both teams were awarded second place and received a gift card, a treat rather than a trick! Hook 'Em and Killer Rabbit rounded out the top five, contributing to an exciting finish for Game 1.

Game 2: A Scary Good Rematch
Game 2 continued the Halloween thrills with fresh rounds and high stakes. "Did You Know? We Don’t Know" tried to make it a night to remember, aiming for a repeat win. This time, Hook 'Em was determined to make it a closer match, tying up the score at 8 points each by the end of Round 2. Just a point behind, Spooky Beshes, Bad News Bears, and Killer Rabbit kept the game close with seven points, while Club Shay Shay lurked behind, hoping for a breakthrough in the final round.
As the final round of Game 2 unfolded, "Did You Know? We Don’t Know" demonstrated consistency by adding another seven points to their score, securing their second win of the night. Their impressive recall of Halloween trivia made them a formidable opponent, and they celebrated their back-to-back victory with cheers and applause. Spooky Beshes, meanwhile, had a less-than-ideal round with only four points, which left them nervously watching as the final scores rolled in.
In a shocking twist, Club Shay Shay took advantage of Round 3, scoring seven points to overtake Spooky Beshes and capture second place by a two-point margin. The last-minute surge left Spooky Beshes in third, while Hook 'Em, Killer Rabbit, and TS House rounded out the top five, with all teams showing remarkable knowledge of the Halloween season’s eerie entertainment and customs.

The Halloween-themed trivia night proved to be more than just a battle of wits.
