Game 1: The Battle Begins
It was a night buzzing with excitement at Keyworth Brewing Co., as teams gathered with beers in hand, ready to test their wits. The familiar faces of regular teams were joined by newcomers, including Prinkle, IPALot, and The Knights Who Say Ni. The question on everyone’s mind was whether one of these fresh contenders could outshine the seasoned teams or if they would succumb to the pressure.
The first two rounds set the stage for a fierce competition. Smarty Pints, a team known for their quick thinking and solid trivia skills, jumped out to a commanding lead, three points ahead of Prinkle and Killer Rabbit, who were tied for second place. Shake and Bake and The Knights Who Say Ni were still in the game but trailing at 10 and 9 points, respectively. They needed a strong performance in the third round to catch up.
Killer Rabbit, a heavyweight in the trivia world, was determined to leap into first place. Their 7-point performance in the final round seemed like it might just be enough. However, Prinkle matched their score with another 7-point round, edging out Killer Rabbit by just a single point to claim the victory. This left Killer Rabbit and Smarty Pints tied for second place, setting the stage for a tense tiebreaker.
In a classic trivia showdown, the teams were given one question, with just 10 seconds to answer. The closest answer would determine who walked away with the second-place finish. Unfortunately for Killer Rabbit, their tiebreaker woes continued, as Smarty Pints managed to come up with a closer answer, securing second place and leaving Killer Rabbit in third. The Knights Who Say Ni and Shake and Bake rounded out the top five teams, making for an exciting conclusion to Game 1.

Game 2: The Comeback
After a short break, the teams were ready for round two, and the competition showed no signs of slowing down. The Knights Who Say Ni and Light Beer Pressure came out strong, both sitting at the top with 12 points each. Killer Rabbit was close behind with 11 points, eager to reclaim their spot at the top after a frustrating finish in Game 1. Meanwhile, IPALot, Your Kids’ Teachers, and Pivot All Day were all hoping to make their move in the critical third round.
As the final round unfolded, tension filled the air. IPALot and Your Kids’ Teachers each scored 7 points, leading to a three-way tie with The Knights Who Say Ni. It was a tight race, and any of these teams could have taken the lead. Light Beer Pressure, who had been holding onto their top spot, faltered with only 3 points in the final round, leaving the door open for Killer Rabbit.
Killer Rabbit seized the opportunity, delivering a strong performance and scoring just enough to hop over Light Beer Pressure and clinch the win by a single point. It was a sweet redemption for Killer Rabbit after their near miss in Game 1. Light Beer Pressure, despite their early lead, had to settle for second place, while the three-way tie between IPALot, Your Kids’ Teachers, and The Knights Who Say Ni kept things interesting until the very end.
Game 2 Winners:
1st place – Killer Rabbit
2nd place – Light Beer Pressure
Trivia night at Keyworth Brewing Co. with The Angry Irishman lived up to its reputation for intense competition and memorable moments. The mix of regulars and newcomers added a fresh dynamic to the games, with teams like Prinkle making a strong first impression and Killer Rabbit proving they still have what it takes to win.
As the evening wrapped up, there was a sense of satisfaction among the participants, whether they had come out on top or simply enjoyed the camaraderie and the challenge.
