Thursday night at Keyworth Brewing Co. was nothing short of electric, chaotic, and gloriously festive. Our annual Halloween-themed PubGuys Trivia night brought out all the enthusiasm, the clever costumes, the smack-talk, and the late-round suspense we could ask for. With the Thursday Night NFL game on the TVs, cold Keyworth brews in hand, and a taproom packed wall-to-wall, the energy was high from the moment the first questions hit the screen. And let’s take a moment to shout out FedEx, who not only competed hard but also walked away as costume contest champions! The crowd’s reaction said it all—those outfits delivered.
We kicked things off strong with a full lineup of teams hungry for victory. Right out of Round 1, FedEx, Beer Pressure, and Witch, Please! came flying out front with strong scores. The early momentum suggested a tight match, and it absolutely delivered on that promise.
By the end of Round 2, things got even tighter. Witch, Please! jumped slightly ahead in the standings with strong Halloween pop-culture knowledge, while Beer Pressure and FedEx stayed shoulder-to-shoulder. Meanwhile, The DNR’s and The Scooby Gang didn’t let up, keeping within striking distance.
But Round 3 was where everything truly shifted. FedEx found their groove and closed strong with an impressive late-game push, finishing with a total of 15 points to secure 1st Place. On their heels were Beer Pressure and Witch, Please!, who ended tied for second. That meant we moved to the tie-breaker: one representative from each team, one question, ten seconds. With answers scribbled and handed over, Beer Pressure edged ahead just enough to take 2nd Place, with Witch, Please! earning a solid 3rd.

Game 2 brought out the heavy hitters—and some redemption arcs.
This time, Killer Rabbits came out swinging with a massive 7-point Round 1. They carried that momentum through Round 2, keeping a strong lead as Witch, Please!, Scream Queens, and Beer Pressure battled tightly behind them.
Round 3 brought the heat. Scream Queens made a bold push, scoring big to shake up the leaderboard, while Death Becomes Us and The Blue Tailed Hawks surged back into competitive range. However, Killer Rabbits refused to let the lead slip. They closed with another strong round and bonus points to secure the win with an impressive 21 points.
