It was another fantastic night at Keyworth Brewing Co., where craft beer lovers, football fans, and trivia enthusiasts gathered for an exciting evening of competition and camaraderie, all led by the ever-energetic host, The Angry Irishman. As the brewery filled to capacity, the buzz of excitement was unmistakable and teams were eager to outwit each other for the top spot and, of course, bragging rights.
Game 1: A Full House and Fierce Competition
The first game of the night kicked off with an electric atmosphere. Trivia regulars Okapi, who had earned a reputation as tough contenders, were back in the house and determined to extend their winning streak. But they weren’t the only team with their eyes on the prize. The teams Did You Know We Don’t Know and Not a Single Cowboy’s Jersey quickly made it clear that they weren’t going down without a fight, tying for first place after the initial two rounds. Okapi, just one point behind, couldn't be counted out so easily, and their competitive drive showed.
The mix of questions, spanning everything from craft beer facts to football trivia, kept everyone on their toes. Meanwhile, other teams like Smarty Pints and Hootenfest is Life stayed in striking distance, hoping for a strong Round 3 to shake up the leaderboard.
In Round 3, tensions were high as the top contenders battled it out. Okapi and Did You Know We Don’t Know both racked up an impressive 10 points, resulting in a tie for first place overall! This left The Angry Irishman with the task of setting up a tiebreaker to determine the ultimate winner of Game 1.
With only 10 seconds to answer the final question, the crowd was on the edge of their seats. The pressure was palpable, but Okapi remained calm and composed. After the final buzzer, Okapi emerged victorious, adding yet another win to their name. Did You Know We Don’t Know took second place, while Smarty Pints and Hootenfest is Life rounded out the top five. It was a thrilling finish to a well-fought game, but the night was just getting started!

Game 2: A Nail-Biting Finish
After the heart-pounding conclusion of Game 1, the crowd was buzzing with anticipation for what Game 2 would bring. The competition had proven to be stiff, and the teams were ready to give it another go. This time, Okapi started off strong once again, but they weren’t alone at the top. Smarty Pints and Not a Single Cowboy’s Jersey were hot on their heels, only one point behind.
The Angry Irishman kept things lively, mixing up the categories and keeping the questions unpredictable. From obscure football facts to craft beer brewing techniques, the trivia covered a wide range of topics, challenging even the most seasoned trivia buffs.
As Game 2 progressed, it became clear that the night would be another close battle. Okapi, determined to defend their Game 1 victory, maintained their lead through all three rounds. But the real excitement came at the end, when a surprising twist left three teams—Not a Single Cowboy’s Jersey, Smarty Pints, and The Elder Millennials—tied for second place with 17 points each. It was a nail-biter, and everyone in the brewery knew that the final tiebreaker would determine who would take home the silver.
The Angry Irishman delivered the tiebreaker question, and all eyes were on the teams as they scrambled to come up with the closest answer. After reviewing the answers, it was determined that The Elder Millennials edged out the competition by a hair, securing their second-place finish for Game 2. The crowd erupted in cheers as the thrilling conclusion capped off an unforgettable night.
