It was another bustling trivia night at Keyworth Brewing Co., hosted by none other than The Angry Irishman himself! With a packed house, teams were ready to put their knowledge to the test, beers in hand and competitive spirits high. Familiar faces and newcomers alike filled the room, each team vying for the top spot and the coveted trivia bragging rights.
Game 1: A Battle of Wits and Bonus Points
The first game kicked off with palpable excitement in the air. As The Angry Irishman took the mic, he greeted the crowd with his signature humor and enthusiasm, setting the tone for what would be a thrilling competition. The crowd settled in, and the first round of questions began, covering a range of topics from pop culture to history, to obscure facts that left some scratching their heads.
By the end of Round 2, the competition was heating up, and we had three teams tied for first place with 12 points each: Killer Rabbit, Club Shay Shay, and Flaming Possums. The tension in the room was palpable; everyone knew that the final round and bonus questions could make or break their chances. Meanwhile, AJAKS and The Elder Millennials were still in the game but would need a stellar Round 3 and a little bit of luck to climb into contention.
The third round saw the top four teams all score 6 points, maintaining the tight competition. However, it was the bonus questions that began to create separation among the leaders. Killer Rabbit showcased their trivia prowess by securing an additional 2 bonus points, propelling them ahead of the pack to claim the top spot with a final score that edged out the competition. Their well-rounded knowledge and ability to capitalize on bonus opportunities proved to be the winning formula.
Club Shay Shay managed to hold onto second place, thanks in part to their early sign-in bonus. They finished just a single point ahead of AJAKS, who fought hard to round out the top three. EeeBees and Flaming Possums completed the top five, with both teams putting in commendable performances. Despite their valiant efforts, the newcomers The Elder Millennials couldn’t quite break into the top five, but they showed great potential and are a team to watch in future trivia nights.

Game 2: Can Killer Rabbit Be Dethroned?
With the first game in the books, anticipation was high for Game 2. Would Killer Rabbit be able to repeat their success, or would another team rise to the occasion and dethrone the reigning champions? The teams reset, and the questions flowed once again, with The Angry Irishman keeping everyone on their toes.
After two rounds, Killer Rabbit seemed poised for a repeat victory, sitting comfortably in first place with 12 points. Club Shay Shay was hot on their heels, just one point behind, determined to change the narrative. Flaming Possums and The Elder Millennials were also in the mix, each only two points away from the lead and hungry for an upset.
As the game progressed into the final round, the stakes were higher than ever. Unfortunately for The Elder Millennials, they only managed to secure 1 point in Round 3, causing their hopes for a comeback to fade as they dropped out of the top five. Flaming Possums, EeeBees, and AJAKS each had a solid Round 3, scoring 5 points apiece, but it wasn’t enough to break into the top two.
Club Shay Shay, hoping to pull off an upset and snatch victory from Killer Rabbit, could only manage 3 points in the final round. This opened the door for Killer Rabbit to maintain their lead and secure a back-to-back win with a steady performance. Their consistency across both games, combined with strategic plays on the bonus questions, solidified their status as the team to beat.

It was indeed a crazy night at Keyworth Brewing Co. The Angry Irishman kept everyone entertained with his witty banter and kept the games running smoothly, ensuring a good time was had by all.
