We had an even bigger crowd at Chuggin' Monk with PubGuys Trivia this week, with 16 players flexing their brain muscles, while simultaneously killing them, with two hours of beer drinking! Game Summary
This week we had some newcomers, but I don't think they were new to PubGuys Trivia, under the team names Fast & Furious and Scots Totts. They did an amazing job against regulars Dude Abides, Mike Hawke (w/ an E), who were missing key team members, and Johnny Tsunami. Although he didn't win, Johnny Tsunami gets a shoutout for sticking it out through the game and recognizing when I started playing songs from the Tony Hawk soundtrack.
This entire game was not a runaway one for any team, with everyone staying tied, or close to it, all the way through rounds 5 and 6. During Rounds 5 and 6, specifically, the scoring results were abysmal, leading to very close final score. In the end Fast & Furious beat out Dude Abides for 1st place by ONE point! Dude Abides barely kept 2nd place from Mike Hawke (w/ an E), but unfortunately for them they fell flat in the end. Here's one (OUT OF MANY) that everyone missed:
