It was great to be back hosting for PubGuys. I had never hosted at Chugging Monk and I appreciate Desmond letting me fill in for him. It's a great set up with a great crowd. And the bartenders kept me well hydrated with Revolver Blood and Honey.

We started with five teams and ended up wth four. Close game throughout the night with Inappropriately confident and CU Next Thursday going neck and neck. Drinking Practice and Rolin were consistent and remained a threat to catch the two leaders.

It was a bit challenging being able to hear the questions with the Stars game going on. Granted, the Stars were fighting for their lives and we had some loyal fans sitting at the bar and cheering. I took requests and let each team pick a year from which I would play songs in between questions. I had a bonus question about one song each round, and also a bonus question related to one of the questions each round.

At the end of six rounds, the two leaders were tied so we went to sudden death. Question? the Montreal Canadiens hold the record for the most Stanley Cup titles? How many? IC guessed 6 and CU guessed 7. It was 24. Congrats to CU for the win and IC got second place.

I hope to stop by and play at CM again soon. Great atmosphere. Until then, stay cool this summer.
