This week was bananas! You missed another great game of FREE trivia at Chuggin' Monk with PubGuys Trivia! Tonight's game shows that you can have a great time with only 12 players! If you had been there, you could have felt the pressure! If you WERE there, congrats to you if you were one of the 1st or 2nd place winners! What did you miss? The BEST trivia in town, brought to you by the BEST host in town! No disrespect to the other PubGuys hosts, but I must say EVERY week is a great time at Chuggin' Monk! Here's what you missed:
Game Summary
This game was a battle for the ages! We had the return of Inappropriately Confident for, I believe, the 1st time this year! And they showed up with some vigor! Round after round they tied with Mike Hawke (w/ an E), with Hoe Throat not far behind. All the way up to Round 4, Mike Hawke (w/ an E) and Inappropriately Confident were neck-and-neck; when one team missed a question, the other team missed a different one.
I honestly thought we'd have to conjure up a tie-breaker question, but in Round 5 Inappropriately Confident took a 3-point lead, and hung on to it until the end! Hoe Throat gave their best effort, but ultimately could not crack the top two spots. Even though it was a extremely close game, here's one thsat everyone missed:
