This week we approached 20 players joining us at Chuggin' Monk with PubGuys Trivia! It was a very close game, full of twists and turns, and if you were there, I'm sure you had a great time! If you weren't there, why not? Who doesn't enjoy FREE trivia? What's better than hanging with your friends, getting great food, and stretching the bounds of your knowledge with trivia? On top of that, if you win, you get a $25 (1st place) or $10 (2nd place) gift card to Chuggin' Monk! So: you have a great time, you win, and you get a prize to come back and do it again! And even if you don't win, you get to hang out with me, too! Here's what you missed:
Game Summary
This week we had several regular teams, with Dude Abides, Hoe Throat, and Mike Hawke (w/ an E) coming out for their chance to win, once again! We also saw the return of Heated Trivialry for the first time in a few weeks, and they were joined by new faces AZ. In a major surprise AZ kept up with our best regulars, tying Hoe Throat and Mike Hawke (w/ an E) for 1st place for three rounds in a row! Unfortunately, they could not stick it out the whole game, so the rest of the game was a battle between Dude Abides and the other remaining teams.
In the end, Hoe Throat took a HUGE lead by the end of Round 4, and never let it go. That left Mike Hawke (w/ an E), Dude Abides, and Heated Trivialry fighting for 2nd place, with Mike Hawke (w/ an E) coming out on top. Here's one that everyone missed:
