This week was packed full of friends playing trivia, for FREE, with PubGuys Trivia at Chuggin' Monk! Believe it, or not, we had almost 30 players this week! That made the game extra spicy for the regulars, and exciting for the newcomers! Everyone (21+) is welcome to join PubGuys Trivia each week to play, again, for FREE, from 7:30 to 9:30! The drink specials are awesome, the staff is super friendly, and the regulars are always looking for new players to take on. Game Summary
This week Heated Trivialry came in so hot with new players, we had to split them into a 2nd team, Scottish Rite. Beyond them we had T&A back at it again, for the 1st time in a few weeks, and they were joined by Patio Pirates, and FSA Tourettes as well. Amongst the regulars we had Mike Hawke (w/ an E), Dude Abides, and Hoe Throat, all battling against the larger teams for 1st or 2nd place. Most of the rounds played were a battle between T&A and Dude Abides, with Hoe Throat in the wings. Mike Hawke (w/ an E) was missing one of their key players, but still managed to make it to 3rd place. Hoe Throat, through bonus question points, mainly, snuck in and stole 1st place from T&A and Dude Abides!
After determining T&A the 2nd-place winner after a tiebreaker question, Hoe Throat took home his $25 gift card for 1st! Here's one everyone missed:
So many teams said Hans Zimmer, it seems to me this may be an misattributed fact for his work! Other submissions were Fatboy Slim and Bono, but they were all wrong. Correct answer was:
